Examples of carbon source in the diagram are COMBUSTION AND RESPIRATION while examples of carbon sink are PLANT AND SOIL.

Carbon source refer to  any carbon containing molecule that is used by living organisms for synthesis purpose. Carbon sink on the other hand refers to a natural reservoir that stores carbon containing compounds for a long period of time. One basic difference between carbon source and carbon sink is that, the carbon source always release more carbon and thus, shrink in size while carbon sink store more carbon and grow in size.

Examples of carbon sources are: emissions from burning fossils fuels, forest fire and respiration while examples of carbon sink are ocean, plant and soil.

Explain why there is a limited number of organisms in a food chain
tankabanditka [31]
There are different trophic levels at each stage. Trophic levels determine the amount of energy at each stage of the food chain. For example, the energy is 100% at the producer (plant), so it's the 1st trophic level, and so on. Energy amounts decrease as you go up a food chain, and you rarely find more than 5 animals in one because there is not enough energy left for the 6th consumer

makkiz [27]

Answer: The correct method would be - to collect the gas in an inverted graduated cylinder. Explanation: Place the aquatic plant under the mouth of the graduated cylinder and gather the gas by the water displacement that is delivered by the cycle of photosynthesis. At that point measure, the volume of gas gathered at different times. An individual could consider the impact of temperature, the measure of light, and the accessibility of supplements as components that may influence the pace of gas creation.
