Answer:

A: 17:8 B: 25:17

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright this should be the answer!

A. For A there all you have to do is take the amount of total games played (25) and subtract the games won (or maybe in a different situation the other number but in this situation its 17) which gets us 8.

Then we make it a ratio which I choose to use the colon format for my ratio but you could use one of the other 2.

B. For B I just took the number of games played (25) and the games won (17) and made it into a ratio which again I used colon format but you (again) could use another format

Now that this has been explained I'm going to head out,

Toodles

3. What % of 100 is 13?
Sedbober [7]

Answer:

To get the solution, we are looking for, we need to point out what we know.

1. We assume, that the number 13 is 100% - because it's the output value of the task.

2. We assume, that x is the value we are looking for.

3. If 13 is 100%, so we can write it down as 13=100%.

4. We know, that x is 100% of the output value, so we can write it down as x=100%.

5. Now we have two simple equations:

1) 13=100%

2) x=100%

where left sides of both of them have the same units, and both right sides have the same units, so we can do something like that:

13/x=100%/100%

6. Now we just have to solve the simple equation, and we will get the solution we are looking for.

7. Solution for what is 100% of 13

13/x=100/100

(13/x)*x=(100/100)*x       - we multiply both sides of the equation by x

13=1*x       - we divide both sides of the equation by (1) to get x

13/1=x

13=x

x=13

now we have:

100% of 13=13
