<u>Answer-</u>

<em>The answer is correct.</em>

<u>Solution-</u>

The length of the side WX of the figure WXYZ = 8 m

The length of the side W'X' of the dilated figure W'X'Y'Z' = 6 m

We know that

dilation \ factor =\frac{length \ of \ the \ segment \ W'X'}{length \ of \ the \ segment \ WX} =\frac{6}{8} =\frac{3}{4}

( If the absolute value of the scale factor is greater than 1, then the image will be larger than the pre-image and vice-versa. A negative scale factor causes the dilation to rotate 180 degrees )

For each triangle shown below, determine whether you would use the Law of Sines or Law of Cosines to find angle x. Then find ang
GalinKa [24]
For the question above we can use the law of sine that states;

a/sinA = b/sinB = c/sinC
 Where a is the opposite side of angle A
             b is the opposite side of angle B
             c is the opposite side of angle C

x/sin63 = 65/sin40

x = 65(sin63)/sin40

   = 57.9154/0.6429
     = 90.10

The answer is <span>A) 90.1 by The Law of Sines (SAS)</span>

• How many 5 inch pieces of wood can<br> you cut* from a board that is 4 feet<br> long
riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

9

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the answer, first convert 4 ft. to inches. 4 ft.= 48 in. Now, you divide 48÷5. 48÷5=9 3/5, or 9.6, but you can't cut <em>a sixth of a board</em>. Therefore, the answer is 9.

Hope this helps!
