Answer:

Option a= $193,000.

Explanation:

So, we are given the following parameters in the question above; 35% of a month's sales in the month of sale, 45% in the month following sale, and 20% in the second month following sale. For the next four months, the Budgeted sales are; April budgeted sales= 120,000, May budgeted sales = $150,00, June budgeted sales = $230,000 and July budgeted sales = $170,000.

Therefore, The amount of cash that will be collected in July is budgeted to be:

(35% × 170,000) + (45% × 230,000) + (20% × 150,000).

= $193,000.

According to the textbook, government price controls fail because: A. they are not enforced. B. legislation cannot repeal basic
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "B": legislation cannot repeal basic economic motives.

Explanation:

Government price controls are regulations imposed by the central government of a country to set limits on prices of certain goods or services because of a surplus, shortage or simply to maintain the demand and supply of those products at their equilibrium level.

However, the demand for some of those products could be unpredictable because individuals could react in opposite directions even if the government has set rules against consumers' favor. Customers' motives might not be always repealed by legislation.

Describe the three important trends in the us economy
Dafna11 [192]

Climate Change is the first trend that is expected to cause more natural disasters. This has been facilitated by global warming caused by increased green house gases. Food prices are expected to rise due to high temperatures that has affected corn and soybean. Floods and storms are now becoming unpredictable.

There is high control of oil, gas and food prices by financial markets. Commodities traders are now setting prices instead of supply and demand thus the value of dollar in under the control of foreign exchange traders.

Increasing rates of interest, where recently the Federal Reserve wants to increase the Fed fund rates to two percent point. Inflation will be at 2% and unemployment at 4% thus this will show a no falling to recession situation which will allow Fed to keep increasing rates. In the long run cost of loans will rise.

Other trends to notice are;the decline in global economic power of the U.S and the fact that the U.S economy is current in the expansion phase of the business cycle.
