It was a "refreshing" change to work with "passionate" who were "genuinely" exited with food as I was

I first encountered it on a "really" cold and damp morning in early February. It was freezing cold, but I "quickly"  forgot about that as i tried to take in as much of the "unique" atmosphere as i could. Hope this helps and enjoy the rest of your day   :)

What is incorrect among those??
torisob [31]

Answer:

(A) evolve

Explanation:

There are verbs in English that need an object in order to convey a full meaning. Those verbs are called transitive verbs. We can not simply say "I took" - we need to know what was taken, the verb needs an object.

Now, this object can sometimes be in a form of a verb, and they are called the verb complements. This can be done in several ways: with infinitives, with gerunds or with noun clauses containing a verb.

One of the transitive verbs in English is the verb "to seem". When this verb needs a verb complement, it always has to be with infinitive.

In other words, when the verb "to seem" needs to be complemented with another verb, that verb will have to be in its infinitive form.

For this particular example, verb "seemed" is followed by the verb "evolve".

Knowing all this now, we can say that this is incorrect, because "evolve" needs to be in its infinitive form: seemed to evolve.
