The best option would be that "<span>D. Many fought in forces against the king," and many did this by supporting the Parliamentarians, although there were other groups as well. Some of course did not get involved in the conflict at all. </span>

Write 5-8 sentences about George Washington in the war
alex41 [277]
George Washington The Patriots' greatest advantage was probably their leader, George Washington. Few could match him for courage and determination. The war might have taken a different turn without Washington. Only 20,000 soldiers made up the Patriot force under George Washington. Yet the Americans were determined to fight. The two sides clashed in the Battle of Long Island in late August 1776. The British badly defeated the outnumbered Continental Army.

Which statement best explains what happened in the stock market from August to the end of October?
vodomira [7]

Answer:

The market lost most of its value

Explanation:

The graph actually went downhill so that means that the stock market couldn't have been making money/financially growing. So, that knocks out option 1 and option 4. I wouldn't say that the market totally collapsed otherwise it would be at the very bottom with barely any money. So, that means it decreased but not a huge substantial amount as collapsing.

What two ancient cities’ ruins were found in the 1920s along the Indus River Valley?
inna [77]
Ans: The ruins of two ancient cities, Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro (both in modern-day Pakistan), and the remnants of many other settlements, have revealed great clues to this mystery. Harappa was, in fact, such a rich discovery that the Indus Valley Civilization is also called the Harappan civilization.
