The answer is vicarious reinforcement. Reinforcement experienced by models that affect the willingness of others to perform the behavior they learned by observing those models is called vicarious reinforcement.

EXPLANATION

In psychology, the term reinforcement refers to the act of rewarding and recognizing a desirable behavior in order to have that specific behavior repeated in the future. One of the reinforcement types is vicarious reinforcement. Vicarious reinforcement itself is the tendency for people to imitate other people’s behavior by observing how other people behave and how other people’s behavior is being rewarded.

To understand vicarious behavior better, these are some examples:

1. A child says sorry if he is doing something wrong. He is also able to say thank you when receiving something good. He is able to do this because he saw his older brother did the same thing, and their parents praised him for it.

2. A child studies hard for a test to get a good score because he saw his brother studies hard for a test and getting a good score. His brother got a new toy because of it. The child also wants to be treated that way, so he studies hard for his test.

3. A student is being very active in class. He asks questions and answers the teacher’s questions. He is doing this because he saw another student getting praised by the teacher for being active in class.

Vicarious learning is very much related to vicarious reinforcement. Vicarious learning is learning behavior through observation without direct punishment or reinforcement of the specific behavior.

Phantasy [73]

Answer:

During the process, Molly's mirror neurons are active when she watches Malcolm and when she rides her own bike.

Explanation:

 • As the name suggests, mirror neurons become highly responsive when a similar activity being done by an individual is seen being performed by someone else.
 • This process of specific brain activity is stimulated owing to the fact that the brain processes the image of the other individual to match with that of your own.
