P.E is a very beneficial subject. There are many reasons to support that fact too! Yes it's tiring and makes you sore. But after finding out how beneficial it is it’ll all be worth it [maybe]. Before you oppose this idea though P.E is more beneficial than you think it's not just made to make you tired and sore for no reason at all.

P.E does a lot of things for you! For example it can help you do better in school. Since many of the regular physical activities include higher levels of concentration and well-composed behavior it affects our performance in many other classes. For instance, did you know that P.E helps students to do better in Social Studies! So if you want to do a little better in some of your classes just take some time to follow some tips that your P.E teacher gave you, or just try to do your best in P.E because you never know what the effect may be!

Want to be a little more social in life? Well guess what!  P.E plays an important role to help you be a little bit better with socializing! You know those sport activities when your teacher puts you with random people? Ya Know the ones you never saw the point of? Cause you felt uncomfortable talking to some of those people or just didn't like one of them, but then ended up having the best time. Well those types of activities actually help you be more o a social person which comes in handy for anything really! It also helps you develop many leadership skills and positive characteristics {which makes you more of a likable person in my opinion}. So in other words P.E doesn’t just help you with school but with the world itself!

Feeling stressed lately because of all that school work? Have no time for anything except studying? Well I have just the solution? One word, Two letters. P.E. According to many websites it is said that since many students are pressured to perform well in school it causes them stress. After a long 6 hours or more in your classroom your teachers assign you so much homework. Leaving you no time to have some fun because if you miss your homework or don’t study your not gonna perform well in school. It is also said that having some fun or playing something is one of the many ways that help release stress but we never have time to do that since school. This is where P.E takes charge. P.E gives us time to play and stay healthy which helps us more than you may think. So let's just try to appreciate the fact that P.E is a subject your school supports! Since not everybody gets to experience all those benefits!

Wanna know something really cool? There are more ways that P.E benefits us. It helps us be healthy, kind, leaders, and more! So the next time you're on your way to your P.E class try to be a little motivated to do the activities given because in the end it’ll be worth it! Who knows maybe you’ll end up having fun too! You never know if you never try. :D

Marta_Voda [28]

<u>Correction To the Question</u>

  • The dimensions of the 6 blocks stacked are \frac{1}{2}X1X1
  • The dimensions of the 9 blocks stacked are \frac{1}{3}X1X1.

Answer:

  • (A)Six of the one-half cubes would have a volume of 3 cubic units.
  • (D)Three of the one-third cubes will make 1 unit cube.
  • (E)Two of the one-half cubes will make 1 unit cube.
  • (F)Both stacks will have a volume of 3 cubic units.

Explanation:

Marissa claims that stacking 6 blocks with dimensions of \frac{1}{2}X1X1 will give the same volume as stacking 9 blocks with dimensions of \frac{1}{3}X1X1.

First, we examine the volume of each block.

<u>Block 1</u>

The dimensions are: \frac{1}{2}X1X1

Volume of 1 block =\frac{1}{2}X1X1=\frac{1}{2} \:cubic\:units

Volume of 6 blocks of dimension =6 X \frac{1}{2} =3 \:cubic\:units

<u>Block 2</u>

The dimensions are: \frac{1}{3}X1X1

Volume of 1 block =\frac{1}{3}X1X1=\frac{1}{3} \:cubic\:units

Volume of 9 blocks of dimension =9 X \frac{1}{3} =3 \:cubic\:units

The following statements out of her claim are true:

  • (A)Six of the one-half cubes would have a volume of 3 cubic units.
  • (D)Three of the one-third cubes will make 1 unit cube.
  • 3X\frac{1}{3} =1\:cubic\:unit
  • (E)Two of the one-half cubes will make 1 unit cube.
  • 2X\frac{1}{2} =1\:cubic\:unit
  • (F)Both stacks will have a volume of 3 cubic units.
