Hey there Mr.Morris!

We are looking for, which sentence does NOT contain any comma errors.

The only sentence that wouldn't carry any errors would be "<span>If the batter is too watery, put a little more flour in it." It was used very well. It was placed right when that person would have to make a resolvation of this whole issue but saying, just put more flour in it, this would be the reason on why so.

Hope this helps you Mr.Morris!</span>

With the stampeding hiss and scurry of green lemmings,
Vesna [10]

A Possible Explanation: I believe the metaphor at the end, "being men as well as leaves, to die for the sun", is referring back to the personification/simile seen here: "midsummer's leaves race to extinction like the roar

of a Brixton riot tunneled by water hoses".

In tandem, the word lemmings has two meanings, as read in the dictionary: "a small, short-tailed, thickset rodent related to the voles, found in the Arctic tundra."

and

"a person who unthinkingly joins a mass movement, especially a headlong rush to destruction."

I believe "autumn's fire" and "the sun" are both symbolic of war, an idea of it, and/or passion for it. I read that this poem is criticizing the human aspect that is war and how short-lived and ignorant it all ends up coming out to be.

I hope this helps ♡

Can someone help me with this answer thank you.
dexar [7]

Answer: B. <u>ow</u> in knowing

Explanation:

In Phonetics, <em>'ow', 'oa', and 'oe'</em> usually produce the same sound when pronounced which is the long o sound.

This is why the<em> 'ow' </em>in<em> 'knowing' </em>is pronounced in the same way as the<em> 'oa'</em> in <em>'approach'</em>. The<em> 'ow' </em>in<em> 'downstairs' </em>is not similar to them due to it's position in the word having changed its sound.

Read the following poem about the epic hero Odysseus (Ulysses is his Roman name) and answer the questions that follow.
Kazeer [188]

Answer:

Hello, I don't think you should be copying and pasting almost an entire quiz here. Esspacially since it's cheating.

Explanation:

<h3><u>Please don't cheat</u>. It's better to just put in your best effort. I don't think we will all do good when we don't have a computer with us to take an exam, and when we have nothing to get answers from. Please consider this helpful instead of a mean comment. Plus, many kids got caught doing this. You can ask someone to explain the question, but not give answers.</h3>
