I need help on this question. I don't want to get a bad grade. -_-
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

60.84 m

Step-by-step explanation:

The perimeter is the distance around

The distance around the 3 sides of the rectangle are

15+12+15

42

Now we are going 1/2 way around the circle

That is 1/2 of the circumference

1/2 C = 1/2 pi *d

         = 1/2 pi *12

          = 6pi

Using 3.14 for pi

          = 6 (3.14)

          =18.84

Add these together

42+18.84

60.84 m

Mary is buying a case of water. She spends $7.99 for a case of 24 bottles. What is the unit rate? (Cost for 1 bottle) *
STALIN [3.7K]

Answer:

so I'm not 100% sure but in these types of questions you are supposed to divide

so you have a pack of 24 bottles for 7.99

so you would do 7.99÷24 = 0.33

then to check it you can multiply

0.33× 24 bottles and it gives you 7.93 which is super close to 7.99 anyway I hope this helps ...

Solve the following system of equations. Show all work and solutions.
Alekssandra [29.7K]

Answer: (0, 1), (-1, -3)

Given two equation's:

  1. y = 2x² + 6x + 1
  2. y = −4x² + 1

Solve them simultaneously:

\sf 2x^2 + 6x + 1 = -4x^2 + 1

\sf 2x^2 + 4x^2 = 1 - 1

\sf 6x^2 + 6x = 0

\sf 6x(x + 1) = 0

\sf 6x = 0, \ x + 1 = 0

\sf x = 0, \ x = -1

(a) When x = 0, y = −4(0)² + 1 = 1

(b) When x = -1, y = -4(-1)² + 1 = -3

Solution: (x, y) → (0, 1), (-1, -3)
