The parable of the prodigal son teaches us a lot of lessons in life, specifically the lesson of deep love and hope. The parable depicts the deep love of a father to his beloved son and hope that his lost son may find his way back home. The father is full of hope and didn't give up on his son that one day, he will return.

Can impudence ever cool off a tense situation? Why or why not?
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

Impudence's meaning is not showing due respect for another person; impertinent, insolent. I highly doubt that a person who is impudent with others could ever cool off a tense situation. They would have to change their attitude towards others to be able to calm down.

For example, "the student is being impudent with his teacher".

Read the passage from Of the Wisdom of the Ancients.
murzikaleks [220]
<span>Bacon lists Cupid’s attributes in order to compare them to the features of the atom.
Just like Cupid, atoms too are primary seeds that make up the world, and just like Cupid, they are naked, because they are not merged into a compound, but rather remain their "innocent" selves. He doesn't use this comparison to prove that Cupid is real (nobody can do that), or to prove he is a child (he is often portrayed as one), or to disprove the existence of atoms (it has been proven already they exist).
