The Central Powers formed during World War I in 1914, in Europe. The Central Powers were the group of nations like Germany, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire. The Central Powers grew from observing outside threats which made them sign a secret agreement known as Triple Alliance. The Central Powers were against France, Britain, Russia on the Western and Eastern Front.
