1. Language barriers: people from central and South America are very likely to speak Spanish, and although Spanish is a growing language in the U.S, there still may be an issue translating.
This is the same for middle eastern immigrants as they may speak Arabic, and many different African or Indian languages. These may even be harder to find a translator for


2. Religious Barrier: there are many aspects of health care that may interfere with religion. A primary example would that women who are Muslim may not be permitted to be seen or touched by a male health care professional.
