Easy math PLEASE help show work find the volume of the cone

So you know that the formula to find the volume of a cone is V=pi x r^2 x h/3
We know that pi is 3.14 so you plug that number in for the pi symbol. Then we know that r is the radius. Since the diameter is shown in the word problem divide 14.8/2 because the radius is half of the diameter. You should get 7.4 as your radius. Then we already know the height for h/3 which is 8.1. Now that you have all of the information given substitute the formula and you should get:
V=3.14(7.4)^2(8.1/3)
Multiply 3.14 times 7.4 to the second power in which you will get 171.3498
Then, divide 8.1 by 3 and then you should get 2.7.
Multiply 171 by 2.7 (btw I rounded 171.3498 to the nearest tenth) and your final answer should be about 464.
Hope this helps
And if I’m wrong please correct me.

Sarah is building a 10-foot-long pen for her pet rabbits. She wants to make gravel bases for two circular food containers
TEA [102]

Answer:

y ≥ 4x

y ≤ 8.75 –1/2πx^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Because the diameters of the gravel bases added together cannot exceed the width of the pen, we get the inequality 2x + 2x ≤ y . Rewriting, we get y ≥ 4x as the first inequality in the system.

Next, write an inequality for cost.

To write the expression for the cost of the fencing, find the perimeter of the rectangle, and multiply the perimeter by the cost per foot of fencing. The pen is a rectangle, so the perimeter is 2(10) + 2(y), or 20 + 2y. Multiply the cost of the fencing material ($4.00 per foot) by the perimeter of the fence to get 4(20 + 2y).

Now, write an expression for the gravel bases for the circular food containers. Because A = r2 and the cost of the gravel is $2.00 per square foot, multiply the cost of the material by the sum of these areas to get 2(x2) + 2(x2).

The total cost must be less than or equal to $150. So, we can say that 4(20 + 2y) + 2(x2) + 2(x2) ≤ 150. After simplifying and solving for y: y ≤ 8.75 – x2.

So, this is the system:

y ≥ 4x

y ≤ 8.75 –1/2πx^2

4|x+5|=20<br> Thanks for the help
Kipish [7]
4 |x = 5| = 20

First, divide both sides by 4. / Your problem should look like: |x + 5| = 5
Second, simplify \frac{20}{4} to 5. / Your problem should look like: |x + 5| = 5
Third, break the problem into 2 equations. / x + 5 = 5 and -(x + 5) = 5
Fourth, solve x + 5 = 5. /
Cancel 5 on both sides. / x = 0
Fifth, solve -(x + 5) = 5 /
Simplify brackets / -x - 5 = 5
Add 5 to both sides / -x = 5 + 5
Add 5 + 5 / -x = 10
Multiply both sides by -1 / x = -10
x = -10
Sixth, collect the solutions to the problems. / Your problem should look like: x = -10, 0

Answer: x = -10, 0

Find Principal when Time = 5 years, Interest - $ 500; Rate = 5%
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

P = $2,000

Step-by-step explanation:

Interest = Principal x Rate x Time

500 = P(.05)(5)

500 = .25P

P = 500/.25

P = 2000
