Answer:

Revised annual depreciation $9,380

Explanation:

Equipment $59,000

Accumulated Depreciation – Equipment $9,600

Useful life of 7 years

Salvage value of $2,500

Annual Depreciation updated

$59,000 - $9,600 - $2,500 = $,9380

To find the revised annual depreciation we have to deduct of the total equipment the accumulated depreciation Year to Date.

$59,000 - $9,600 = $49,400

At this value we have to substract the Salvage Value of the equipment,

$49,400 - $2,500 = $46,900

So, the revised annual depreciation it's $ $46,900 / 5 Years = $9,380

Stella [2.4K]
True. A monopolist does not face the same constraints as an open or free market but instead is bounded by the consumers' demand for its products. Therefore, the firm's decision about how much to supply is directly related to its demand curve because they can produce as much or as little as the consumes demand.

Based on the following data for the current year, what is the number of days' sales in accounts receivable? Net sales on account
ki77a [65]

Answer:

25 Days

Explanation:

Average Account receivables:

= (Accounts receivables, beginning of year + Account receivables, end of year) ÷ 2

= (45,000 + 35,000) ÷ 2

= 40,000

Account Receivables Turnover = Net Sales on Account ÷ Average Account Receivables

Account Receivables Turnover = 584,000 ÷ 40,000

                                                    = 14.6 times

No. of Days Sales in Accounts Receivables:

= No. of Days in a year ÷ Account Receivables Turnover

= 365 ÷ 14.6

= 25 Days

valentinak56 [21]

Answer:

$62,750

Explanation:

The computation of budgeted net income is shown below:-

Budgeted income = (Contribution Margin × Units produced and sold ÷ Units) - Manufacturing costs - Selling and administrative costs

= ($118,800 × 25,000 ÷ 27,000) - $29,700 - $17,550

= $110,000 - $29,700 - $17,550

= $62,750

Therefore for computing the Budgeted income we simply applied the above formula.

In 2009 the Ford Motor Company announced plans to spend $490 million on
ivann1987 [24]

Answer:

  • Cheaper labor.
  • Cheaper auto parts.

Explanation:

China has cheaper labor rates than the United States in comparative industries including in the motor vehicle producing industry. Ford may want to take advantage of this to make cars at a smaller cost in China and therefore make more profit in sales.

Car parts are also easier and cheaper to acquire in China. Steel for instance, is a very valuable commodity in motor vehicle manufacturing and China happens to be the largest producer in the world. Having access to cheaper materials would increase Ford's profitability as well.
