To whom or what does Washington give credit for America’s victory in the Revolution? Cite textual evidence to support your answe
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

Washington gave prestige to the French soldiers and fleet for America's success in the revolution. Washington's administration skills along with America's nationalistic spirit also served to win the revolution.

Explanation:

The American Revolution was an ideological and governmental change that happened in colonial North America. The American Patriots in the Thirteen Colonies overthrew the British in the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783), achieving freedom from the British Crown and placing the United States of America, the first modernized constitutional progressive democracy. France granted the funds, troops, armament, army leadership, and naval assistance that shifted the balance of armed power in support of the United States and flagged the way for the Continental Army's ultimate success, which was packed at Yorktown, Virginia. Backed by the French army and navy, Washington's troops crushed Lord Charles Cornwallis' veteran troops dug in at Yorktown, Virginia. This conquest led straight to the peace agreements that ended the war in 1783.
