I think this is supposed to say media so thats how I am going to answer it!

If there was news reporters at the scene of the Vietnam war it would show many American citizens what was going on. Many people would not like it because it would probably show the Vietnam capturing and torturing American soilders.

The countries not included in the original alliance system were pulled into the war because they had alliances with the countries within the original alliance system. That they promised to be on their side should there ever be a war. However, this caused many conflicts because some countries had alliances with both sides.
