Answer:

Explanation:

The Black Plague started in Central Asia around China in the 1320s and arrived in Europe in 1347. At least 60% of Europe’s people were killed by the plague. Before the plague people lived according to the teachings of the catholic church since it told them what was right and wrong and directed them. Many people believed that God had sent it as punishment for the people’s sins and the priests lost their popularity since they were unable to explain the plague or offer the cure to this plague. This made people question the teachings of the church and the church lost tens of thousands of members from the plague since a large number lost faith in its authority. people saw the priests as ordinary men since they were dying while taking care of the sick, refused to come in to contact with the sick and others abandoning the priesthood in fear. This resulted in new priests who were not educated put in their positions and the church teachings weakened.

Absolute Monachy                                                                                                                         As it colonized New France, France transplanted its form of government: absolute monarchy. The king was the source of all justice and exercised supreme power by divine right. Like France, New France was an old order society that had an elitist, hierarchical vision of itself.
