Answer and Explanation:

There are a few different types of biotechnology.

One is medical biotech. Essentially, this branch is used to help improve the wellbeings and helaths of people. It involves a lot of DNA in helping to find cures for various diseases. Some examples of advancements in this field are vaccines and antibiotics.

Another is agricultural biotech. In the agriculture industry, farmers are continuously searching for ways to increase crop yield and quality, which delves into the topic of genetic modification and engineering. For example, scientists are breeding certain plants or adding certain genes to make offspring that is hardier and more pest-resistant.

Those are two main types of biotechnology.
