Answer:

A pathogen is a microorganism that can cause disease. Zoonotic pathogen transmits disease naturally between animals and humans. The common pathway to transmit disease is air, water, contaminated food and hand to mouth contact. Humans can usually fight against the more common zoonotic pathogens but if the immune system is not prepared for the pathogen, it can harm the body.

Salmonella infection is a very common zoonotic infection. It is caused by Salmonella bacteria. Following steps can be taken to control it:

  • Raw and under cooked eggs and meat should not be eaten
  • Food should be properly refrigerated
  • Cooked food and raw food should not be mixed
  • Hands should be washed well before handling food
  • After touching animals, hands should be washed well.

Question
egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

There is a 25% chance of an offspring having blue eyes.

Explanation:

A punnet square can be described as a diagram which is made to check the outcomes of a cross.

In the scenario discussed in the question, only one trait is being studied. Such a cross is termed as a monohybrid cross.

As both the parents are heterozygous for the trait, hence the punnet square can be made as follows:

       B b

B BB Bb

b Bb bb

The results of this punnet square show that:

  • there is 25% chance that the offspring will be homozygous for brown eyes.
  • there is a 50% chance that the offspring will be heterozygous for brown color.
  • there is a 25% chance that the offspring will be homozygous and have blue eyes.

HELP!
Kryger [21]

Answer:

discovered moons around Jupiter and phases of Venus.

Explanation:

This is because Galileo was a scientist that discovered some proofs to back heliocentric theory. He discovered four moons in the orbit that surrond jupiter and he napped out how the medicean stars where rightly positioned even at night. They would not orbit around Jupiter if the Earth was at tye center of the system. Venus is very close to the sun and it won't go through phases of the Earth is at the system's center.

Heliocentric theory indicate the sun being the centre of the system.
