How you do it is, go to the tens place which is 3, now round it, you then go to the ones place, if the number is bigger than 4 then that would make the 3 a 4 and the ones place would just be a 0, if the ones place is less than 5 then the tens place would just be its normal number which is 3 and the ones place would be a 0 again, so the ones place is a 1 and that is less than 5, so the tens place would be the same, so then the answer would be 672,830!

What inverse operation would you perform on both sides to solve this equation?
Lesechka [4]

Answer:

c=-24

Step-by-step explanation:

You should perform the inverse of addition and multiplication

The inverse of addition is subtraction so we subtract 4 on both sides:

4-4-c=26-4

Which will be

-c=24

Divide by -1 since the inverse of multiplication is division

-c/-1=24/-1

So the answer will be:

c=-24

Solve for x using the image shown below:
mario62 [17]

<u>Given</u>:

The given triangle has three equal sides. Thus, the given triangle is an equilateral triangle.

The measure of one angle is (4x - 20)°

Since, it is an equilateral triangle, then all the three sides will be equal.

We need to determine the value of x.

<u>Value of x:</u>

The value of x can be determined using the triangle sum property.

Thus, we have;

(4x-20)^{\circ}+(4x-20)^{\circ}+(4x-20)^{\circ}=180^{\circ}

Simplifying, we have;

4x-20+4x-20+4x-20=180

Adding the like terms, we have;

12x-60=180

       12x=240

           x=20

Thus, the value of x is 20

A school book fair has 72 non fiction books and 328fiction books for sale. What percent of the book fair is non fiction books
Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

18%

Step-by-step explanation:

Non fiction books - 72

Fiction Books - 328

Total Books - 400

72 + 328 = 400

Percent of non fiction books to book fair - 18%

\frac{72}{400}

Simplify it until it has a denominator of 100, since that is the standard denomination for percentages.

\frac{18}{100}

18% or 0.18.
