You get 50 points if yu answer the question and the firdt to get it right gets top!!
horsena [70]
The equation would be:
3/4x=16 1/2
So you would divide both sides by 3/4
and get 44 bags for the leftover 16 1/2 lb. of cookies.
Hope this helps a lot!

While traveling to Europe phlegm exancheged 250 US dollars he spent 150 euros on his trip after returning to the United States h
anzhelika [568]
1euro = 1.3687 USD

So 150 Euros = 150*1.3687 USD

=<span>205.305 USD

So he spent $205.305 USD on his trip.

He started off with $250 so to find the amount left we just take

250 - 205.305

= $44.695

Or 44 dollars and 69.5 cents. It's a weirdly exact amount, sure, but the question had a very precise exchange rate, so we'll assume this is fine. </span>

Given the function g(x) = 6(4)x, Section A is from x = 0 to x = 1 and Section B is from x = 2 to x = 3.
Mademuasel [1]

We are given the function:

g(x) = 6 (4)^x

Part A.

To get the average rate of change, we use the formula:

average rate of change = [g(x2) – g(x1)] / (x2 – x1)

Section A:

average rate of change = [6 (4)^1 – 6 (4)^0] / (1 – 0) = 18

Section B:

average rate of change = [6 (4)^3 – 6 (4)^2] / (3 – 2) = 288

Part B.

288 / 18 = 16

Therefore the average rate of change of Section B is 16 times greater than in Section A.

<span>The average rate of change is greater between x = 2 to x = 3 than between x = 1 and x = 0 because an exponential function's rate of change increases with increasing x (not constant).</span>
