nikklg [1K]
John ran. - independent

John ran away from the shore. - independent

Jim studied in the sweet shop for his chemistry quiz. - independent

When Jim studied in the sweet shop for his chemistry quiz. - now this one's tricky. I am leaning towards dependent but it could be the response to a question, but I don't know what question or could be dependent because its not a complete thought. Try dependent.

Do you think crying is a sign of weakness or strength? Why? 5-8 sentences
elena55 [62]
Answer: I think crying is a sign of strength, as it’s a natural sign of emotion for human being’s. Some people find it hard to express their feelings, as they might be worried of what others might think. While others, mostly men, have to go through society, as society thinks that man should not cry, if they do they are weak or simply “not a man”. This usually happens to males at a very young age, which gives them a mindset to not cry, or therefore they are not “ strong”. Other people usually get bullied by it, getting to be known as a “ crybaby”.many others think it’s a weakness when it’s a natural human response, and example is a baby. A baby cries whenever they need something because that’s the only way they can communicate, which helps alert their guardian to give them what they need. Some people cry as a source to release stress or piled up feelings. I think crying is an incredible way to express feelings, thats why I think it is a strength instead of a weakness.
