Although there is no reference or a text attached to answer the question, we could say that what I learn about Marie Curie from the way she responds to her circumstances was that she was a determined woman in searching for answers. She had the knack to be perseverent no matter the difficult circumstances ahead. Since she was a young woman she never surrendered, she kept going on, a true characteristic for a scientist. Without perseverance and patience, a scientist will not have success. Marie Courie and her work to discover radioactivity made her win the Science Nobel Prize. She was the first woman to be awarded that prestigious prize.
