She had the knack to be perseverent no matter the difficult circumstances ahead. Since she was a young woman she never surrendered, she kept going on, a true characteristic for a scientist. Without perseverance and patience, a scientist will not have success. Marie Courie and her work to discover radioactivity made her win the Science Nobel Prize. She was the first woman to be awarded that prestigious prize.
