He didn't really let them go away from Germany, but he wanted to separate them fro the rest of the people. he made them wear the yellow star of David and he took their pictures to ensure that they wore their stars at all times otherwise they would all die. he stopped letting Jewish people have their own businesses, he didn't let them ride bikes, own cars, or have any freedom for that matter...they also had an extremely strict curfew and if they were to disobey them they would get killed on the spot. it was a horrendous episode in history because he was responsible for so many deaths of innocent people.
