Describe the beliefs, concerns, and goals of the Soviet Union and the United States that contributed
lesya692 [45]

Answer:

At the end of the Second World War, the Allied side, which was formed mainly by the powers of the United States, the Soviet Union, Great Britain and France, divided itself in ideological terms into two distinct camps, led by the United States and the Soviet Union, respectively. Thus, the side led by the United States, called the Western bloc, advocated the imposition of a democratic and capitalist system throughout the planet with a fundamental respect for the individual freedoms of citizens, both in social and economic terms. On the other hand, the Soviet Union came to lead in the eastern bloc, with clearly communist ideas, which promoted the creation of an authoritarian system in which the government would centralize economic, political, civil and social decisions both at a general level as well as in the particular scope of each one of the citizens.

In this way, these two antagonistic views of the world began to collide, since both powers sought to expand their spheres of influence through the imposition of their system in other countries. This situation, motivated by the power struggle between both powers, gave rise to the Cold War.

MariettaO [177]
The correct answer is "passage of a new excise tax."

This tax passed on whiskey in 1791, caused significant uproar from the American citizens. One of the reasons why it caused an uproar was because taxes put on the American people by a strong central government was the initial reason the US declared their independence from Great Britain. Americans were scared that this would be the beginning of another out of touch federal government that would force taxes on their citizens. To show their disapproval of this tax, citizens rebelled by using violence and intimidation tactics to scare tax collectors.

How did Federalists promise to support a bill of right of influence the ratification battle
inna [77]

The compromise helped gather enough support for the Constitution to ensure its ratification and for it to go to the adoption of the first ten amendments and the Bill of Rights. Anti-Federalists were scared that the Constitution would make the government overly-confertalized and that it would diminish individual rights and liberties.
