Both fish and birds are similar because of their species. A bird is different from a fish because 1,800 of the world's 10,000 bird species migrate long distances each year in response to the seasons.[8] Many of these migrations are north-south, with species feeding and breeding in high northern latitudes in the summer, and moving some hundreds of kilometers south for the winter. A fish is different from a bird because Most fish species are relatively limited in their movements, remaining in a single geographical area and making short migrations for wintering, to spawn, or to feed. A few hundred species migrate long distances, in some cases of thousands of kilometers. So that is the compare and contrast of two animals now help me with mine

TIME REMAINING
loris [4]

Answer:

"However, chores are building blocks for a firm foundation."

Explanation:

A metaphor is where one thing is described / compared to another thing, without the use of words such as "like" or "as". It is where one thing is described by directly referring to another.

In this case, "chores" are not actual "building blocks", but are described as being like them, by directly referencing them as building blocks, but without the use of words such as "like" or "as".

Hope this helps!

NOTE: If there is a word such as "like" or "as" (e.g. He was like a lion), than it would be a simile.
