The sum of exterior angles of ANY regular polygon is 360.
For example, the exterior angle of a square is 90 degrees time 4 vertices = 360 degrees.
The exterior angles of an equilateral triangle is 180-60=120, times 3 vertices = 360.
...and so on.

So we can use this fact to calculate the exterior angle of a REGULAR decagon, which is therefore 360/10=36 degrees.

According to the diagram, this angle (36 degrees) is the complement of x, so x=90-36=54 degrees.

Next, the interior angle is just the supplement of the exterior angle, namely
y=180-36=144 degrees.

BTW, if you would grant my wish, please put a Micky Mouse as your profile picture, and that, of course.....until you change it next time! :)

what is the equation in point-slope form of the line passing through (0, 5) and (−2, 11)? (1 point) y − 5
makkiz [27]

According to the question, the line is through the points (0,5) and (-2,11)

To calculate the slope using standard formula that is :

m = \frac{(y(2)-y(1))}{(x(2)-x(1))} = \frac{(11-5)}{(-2-0)} =\frac{6}{-2} = -3

Now the slope equation will be: m(x(2)-x(1)) = (y(2)-y(1))

y-5 =(-3)(x-0) = y = -3(x)+5

The slope-intercept form is:y = -3x+5

What is the equation of the line?

To represent the set of points in an algebraic form is known as the equation of line. The set of points represent lines in the coordinate system. The parameters can be calculated and those parameters are slope and y-intercept.

What is the equation in point slope form of a line that passes through the point (−8, 2) and has a slope of 12 ? Drag a number,
NemiM [27]
Point-slope form:

y − b = m(x − a), where m is the slope and (a, b) is a point on the graph.

Here that would look like:

y - 2 = 12(x - (-8))
y - 2 = 12(x + 8)

The answer:
y - 2 = 12(x + 8)

Hope this helps.
