Why might someone have trouble because of bureaucratic obstacles standing in the way?

Someone might have trouble because of bureaucratic obstacles standing in the way due to the fact that bureaucracy itself is an obstacle when it comes to engaging in certain activities.

For instance, when traveling, one might be surprised at how bureaucratic the whole process can be and that could certainly be discouraging.

Even Ozzy Osbourne was once discouraged by bureaucratic obstacles: in the late 1990's, he ended up turning down an offer to reunite with Black Sabbath due to his fax machine nearly exploding with so much paperwork that had been sent by the band's manager.

Which describes the narrator's perspective in Shania's Diary?
miss Akunina [59]

Answer: C) first person point of view

Explanation: The first person point of view describes the narrator's perspective in Shania's diary because Shania relates her own story i.e the story was told from Shania's perspective. To justify this, we often see the words; "I, Me, We, Us" (grammatical first person) been used. Shania spoke alot about her self in the diary and also the events she experienced.

Jaunt : excursion:: resignation:
krok68 [10]
Well, since jaunt and excursion mean relatively the same things, they are near synonyms, we are looking here for a word that has a relatively similar meaning to that of 'resignation'. Since you didn't give us any examples, I will just list you some of its synonyms: departure, retirement, termination, abdication, leaving, notice, abandonment, withdrawal, etc.

So, who had read the book, The Red Badge of Courage? I am having to do a 200 pt assignment on it and would like some pointers. F
jonny [76]
Henry's journey in The Red Badge of Courage is obviously a very complex one, and that it's difficult to fit into an 8 slide presentation, but you can certainly try! I think the thing it is most important to discuss is the fluctuation in his character development, from being terrified to confident, to being scared again, to finally overcoming his fears only to receive a terrible knockback. Make sure not to write as if his journey within the story was one smooth path.
