Okay so because we are talking about the rate of km per hour. This means that car A is going 208km per hour. We are trying to find out how many km at 12 hours so we are going to multiply:
208x12= 2496km
Now we have to do the same for car B:
215x12= 2580km
Next we have to figure out how many km more did car B drive than car A so we have to subtract:
2580-2496= 84km
Hope this helps(;

A. Find the dimensions of the original painting.

Since the scale is 1 in : 40 cm

2 in ( 40 cm / 1 in) = 80 cm

1.5 in ( 40 cm / 1 in) = 60 cm

80 cm by 60 cm

B. Find the area of the original painting.

A = 80 cm x 60 cm = 4800 sq cm

C. Since 1 inch is 2.54 cm, find the dimensions of the original painting in inches.

80 cm ( 1 in / 2.54 cm) = 31.5 in

60 cm ( 1 in / 2.54 cm) = 23.6 in

D, Find the area of the original painting in square inches.

A = 31.5 in x 23.6 in = 743.4 sq in

Vertical angles ate those that ate directly across from each other and share the same vertex. An example of this would be angles 5 and 7. These types of angles are also congruent, so angles 5 and 7 could be your congruent pair or another set of vertical angles like 1 and 3. A linear pair is two angles that together are a line. Basically, they are next ro each other (divided only by another vector) and are supplementary, adding up to 180 degrees. An example of this in the image is angles 1 and 2.
