The American were upset by the British government implementing taxes after the French and Indian War.since the British government had debt after the war and relied on the Americans to help pay off the debt because the government was protecting the Americans from the French. when implementing all this the Americans had no members in the parliament to represent them when the English parliament voted on these taxes and this brought about conflict among them.
