<em><u>The proportion that could be used to solve for the variable is:</u></em>

\frac{16}{40} = \frac{3}{h}

h = 7.5

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that,

16 walls in 40 hours 3 walls in h hours

Which means,

16 walls build in 40 hours

Then 3 walls in h hours

We have to write a proportion

The number of walls and the number of hours are proportion

Therefore, we get,

\frac{16}{40} = \frac{3}{h}

Cross multiply and solve for h

16 \times h = 3 \times 40\\\\16h = 120\\\\h = \frac{120}{16}\\\\h = 7.5

Thus the proportion is solved

If ac bisects bad and bcd prove bac=dac
laila [671]

ΔBAC ≅ ΔDAC  by ASA congruency

Step-by-step explanation:

Congruency of any triangle can be proved by either of these four criteria. These include

SSS, SAS, ASA, AAS where S= sides and A= Angles

In the given figure ΔBAC & ΔDAC

Since the line, AC is a common angular bisector of ∠BAC and ∠DAC

∴ ∠BAC = ∠DAC               ∵ AC is an angular bisector and bisects the ∠BAD into two halves

    ∠BCA=∠DCA                ∵AC is an angular bisector and bisects the  ∠DCB into two halves

AC=AC                                 ∵Common side

∴ ΔBAC ≅ ΔDAC                    ⇒by Angle-Side-Angle (ASA) congruency criterion

HELLPPPPPP PLEASE I'LL GIVE BRAINLEST
kifflom [539]

Answer:

Angle A would be 40°

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of all angles of a triangle is 180° always.

So, the sum of 80° , 11x - 4 and 15x would be 180°

80° + 11x - 4 + 15x = 180°

80 - 4 + 11x + 15x = 180°

76 + 26x = 180

26x = 104

x = \frac{104}{26}

x = 4

Since angle A is 11x - 4, its measure would be

(11 x 4) - 4

44 - 4

40.

What is the equation of the line through (1,4) and (2,2)?<br> y= _x + __
aivan3 [116]

Answer:

y = -2x + 6

Step-by-step explanation:

y = mx + c

m = (2-4)/(2-1) = -2/1

m = -2

y = -2x + c

When x = 1, y = 4

4 = -2(1) + c

c = 4 + 2 = 6

y = -2x + 6
