<h2><u>Answer:</u></h2>

When he was 20 years of age, provincial American Benjamin Franklin had effectively gone through two years functioning as a printer in London. He came back to Philadelphia in 1726. Amid the ocean voyage home, he kept a diary that included a considerable lot of his perceptions of the common world. Franklin was curious, understandable and keen on acing the universe.

All out sun oriented shrouds are not uncommon wonders; at regular intervals overall one happens some place on Earth. Franklin and his shipmates likely had seen overshadow previously. What was diverse for Franklin and his age was another comprehension of the reasons for obscurations and the likelihood of precisely anticipating them.

When Poor Richard discusses the invention of the telescope and the orbits of planets around the sun, he did not expect the general people to be informed about this phenomenon, as it had not been discussed before.

Further Explanation:

The achievements in science were riddled with several religious constraints, and man could not make much significant progress in scientific discovery. Thus, when Poor Richard discusses the invention of the telescope, he hopes that his readers would appreciate the recent scientific discovery, and understand the recent contributions to science. This information, he expected, would change the way people viewed the workings of the solar system, the universe, and planetary movements. This discovery would also change the way astrological charts are made.

Poor Richard’s Almanac was a journal maintained by Benjamin Franklin, which contained a plethora of entries regarding recent scientific discoveries that changed the way science was previously looked at. Poor Richard was merely a pseudonym that Benjamin Franklin adopted, as he wrote in his journal about regular astronomical movements and astrological charts. He eventually published his journal under his pseudonym. Poor Richard gradually believed in maintaining an open stance towards understanding and interpreting the most important scientific discoveries. Poor Richard took the responsibility of educating and spreading the scientific discoveries of humankind among the people, so that mankind would be able to cross the barriers of religious shackles, and truly unravel the scientific workings of the universe. Thus, Richard gradually distances himself from the religious interpretations of the workings of the solar system.
