discuss two social factors (excluding and social interaction) that may contribute to unemployment in south Africa amongst the yo
mart [117]

Exclusion and social interaction have acted together with racism and prejudice to prevent the employment of young South Africans.

What is social exclusion?

 • It is the distancing of a group of people from socially favorable situations.
 • It is a phenomenon that provides the deprivation of social instances.
 • It is one of the promoters of social vulnerability.

Social exclusion prevents young South Africans, especially blacks and those from lower social classes, from having access to quality education and professionalization.

This also prevents these young people from extending their contact network, preventing them from having an efficient social interaction that helps them to reach the necessary resources for professional advancement.

All this, associated with racism and prejudice, within an elitist society has increased unemployment among these young people.
