Physiologically, the effects of anorexia are similar to the effects of starvation: basal metabolic rates _____, and blood levels
boyakko [2]
The answer to this question would be: decrease, decrease

Anorexia is a mental disease that causes the patient to experience fear of gaining weight. In this case, the patient will try to limit their food intake(in an extreme way) or induce vomit to remove the food.
The effect should be same as starvation or malnutrition. As the food intake decreased, blood glucose is decreased too. The body adapts by lowering the basal metabolic rate so it loses less energy. Insulin and leptin will be decreased too as it was not needed.
