so, let's equate given equation with the standard equation ~

se get :

  • a² = 64 ; a = 8

  • b² = 36 ; b = 6

As we know, length of minor axis is : 2b = 2 × 6 = 12 units

and, the smaller circle has diameter = 2b = 12 units

so, it's radius = 6 units ~

Now, let's write the equation of circle with origin as centre and radius = 6 units
