Exterior angle theorem
16x - 7 = 8x + 2 + 10x - 19    ===>  16x -7 = 18x - 17
16x - 16x - 7 = 18x - 16x - 17 ===> -7 = 2x - 17
-7 + 17 = 2x - 17 + 17             ===> 10 = 2x ======> 5 = x
Plug x in to each equation.
Angle P: 8(5) + 2 = 42 deg, Angle Q: 10(5) - 19 = 31
The sum of interior angles = 180. 180 - 42 -31 = 107 deg (angle of PRQ)
To check that line other angle : 16(5) -7 = 73 deg + 107 = 180 deg

What is the measure of ∠PQR ? <br><br> Enter your answer in the box. °
xxTIMURxx [149]
The 3 inside angles of a triangle need to = 180 degrees
 you are given 70 and 80 which = 150 degrees  ( 70 +80 = 150)

so the missing angle (PQR) = 180 - 150 = 30 degrees

Vinvika [58]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

the solution to the system

= find the intersection of two lines

method( one )

solve the equations ( find(x , y) )

( 1 ) y = -x +3

( 2 ) y = x - 3

now , we let ( 1 ) + (2 )

we have 2y =0  ,thus y = 0

from ( 1 ) y = - x +3 , we know y = 0  ,

we rewrite ( 1 ) as 0 = -x + 3,thus x = 3

method( two)

see the intersection point of two lines

so the ans is B.(3 , 0)

What is the equation, in slope-intercept form, of the line that is perpendicular to the line y – 4 = –(x – 6) and passes through
Sever21 [200]
That line is in point-slope form:

\sf y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

Where 'm' is the slope and (x1, y1) is a point on the line.

Perpendicular lines have opposite slopes. To get the opposite, we take the reciprocal and multiply it by -1.

\sf -1

Reciprocal:

\sf -\dfrac{1}{1}\rightarrow -\dfrac{1}{1}\rightarrow -1

Multiply by -1:

\sf 1

We can plug this slope and the point into point-slope form, and then convert it to slope-intercept form.

\sf y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

\sf y-(-2)=1(x-(-2))

Negatives cancel out:

\sf y+2=1(x+2)

Distribute 1 into the parenthesis:

\sf y+2=x+2

Subtract 2 to both sides:

\boxed{\sf y=x}

A science test, which is worth 100 points, consists of 24 questions. Each question is worth either 3 points or 5 points. If x is
Arada [10]

Answer:

The test contains 10 three-point questions and 14 five-point questions.

Step-by-step explanation:

The value of x is the number of 3-point questions, and the value of y is the number of 5-point questions, as the problem statement tells you. So, the solution (x, y) = (10, 14) indicates ...

"The test contains 10 three-point questions and 14 five-point questions."

_____

You can try the offered answers to see which might apply. The last choice has too many questions. The first and third choices don't add up to 100 points.
