The events that contributed to the rise of conservatism is the Moral Majority which was established by Jerry Falwell, it is a political organization of the US where it is made up of conservative Christian political action committees. They campaigned on the issues regarding personal belief are more important in maintaining its Christian conception of moral law. This group constrained for enactment that would reject premature birth and prohibit the states' acknowledgment of homosexuality.
