History

Answer:

social and physical: The event was the first major act of defiance to British rule over the colonists. It showed Great Britain that Americans wouldn't take taxation and tyranny sitting down, and rallied American patriots across the 13 colonies to fight for independence. As a result of the Boston Tea Party, the British shut down Boston Harbor until all of the 340 chests of British East India Company tea were paid for. This was implemented under the 1774 Intolerable Acts and known as the Boston Port Act.

economic: The British East India Company lost the value of 90,000 pounds of tea that were dumped into Boston's harbor

Casualties at the Battle of Okinawa and Iwo Jima
Agata [3.3K]

Casualty rates at the Battle of Okinawa and Iwo Jima plays a small role in the justification of dropping the atomic bomb, and is by no means the only justification or even the major justification in using the atomic bomb. They were, after all, only used as a statistical report through the casualty per sq. mile report of what can occur when invading the mainland. So yes, it may be a means towards the justification, but as the justification itself it is not.

Once Congress declares war and the President assumes the role of Commander-in-Chief who decides how the war ends?
Inessa [10]

Answer:

Both? here let me explain...

Explanation:

If you want to get technical, once the President assumes the Role of Commander in Chief of the United States Military he has control over all military action while congress; per the original intent of the constitution, has control over starting war and ending it. If you really had to choose one or the other the Commander in Chief has in most occurrences decided how war ends. I really hope this helped, if not my apologies and if you need any more elaboration please let me know down in the comments and I will do my best.
