The smallest "dwarf elliptical" galaxies are less than one-tenth the size of the Milky Way! Elliptical galaxies have very little gas and dust. Since stars form from gas, little star formation occurs in elliptical galaxies.

Why did Great Britain claim colonies such as India
Triss [41]

Britain is a VERY VERY BAD PLACE for agriculture

It needed colonies with very good agricultural farming land so that it could grow crops/materials and sell them to make profit

Also England wanted power and status so it decided to show off by taking large amounts of land also that could be used for warfare

From an economic and strategic perspective, the Strait of Malacca is one of the most important shipping lanes in the world. The strait is the main shipping channel between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean, linking major Asian economies such as India, China, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea.

Singapore controls the smallest area of the strait, but the city-state enjoys the biggest economic benefit from shipping activities.
