I can assume each line is a different word in the sentence underlined. Emphasis on a different word each time read gives the sentence a completely different tone. saying I wanted chocolate and cake with an underlined "I" gives off a 'YOU wanted both and you want it now. ' vibe, meanwhile the same sentence with an underlined "and" gives off the tone of you STRONGLY want both.
