I believe it is LETTER A.
There are 4 spots to be filled and the order matters. When order matters you have to use Permutations (P).
The first spot has a requirement that the number has to be greater than 7. There are only 2 numbers in the set that are greater than 7, 8 & 9.
So for spot 1 you have 2P1.
You have 4 remaining spots to fill and the order still matters so it will be another permutation. Since you cannot use repeats, we only have 9 numbers left to choose from and we are going to fill the 3 slots with these 9 numbers. 9P3
Only choice A has these options

Jebb is the tallest player on his basketball team. He is 1 1/2 times as tall as the shortest girl in sixth grade, who is 4 1/4 f
skelet666 [1.2K]

Answer:

51/8 or 6 3/8 (depending on if you need to simplify or not)

 Step-by-step explanation:

Since the girl is 4.25 feet tall, you would multiply that by 1.5 which would get you 6.375 then, you convert to a fraction. The fraction would be 51/8 which would be equivalent to 6 3/8. So, Jebb is 6 3/8 feet tall.

Hope this helped! :)

A total of $5000 is invested: part at 9% and the remainder at 14%. How much is invested at each rate if the annual interest is $
IceJOKER [234]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  • $200 at 14%
  • $4800 at 9%

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x represent the amount invested at 14%. Then 5000-x is the amount invested at 9%. The interest earned is ...

  (14%)x +(9%)(5000 -x) = 460

  0.05x +450 = 460 . . . . . . . . . . simplify

  0.05x = 10 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . subtract 450

  x = 200 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . divide by 0.05

  5000-x = 5000-200 = 4800

$200 was invested at 14%; $4800 was invested at 9%.
