Orwellian Definition: Characteristic of the writings of George Orwell. George Orwell wrote dystopian fiction as warnings of the future based on the current event sof his time such as his most famous 1984, and Animal Farm. Example sentence: "With North Korea having so much control over it's citizens, they are pracitically living in an Orwellian themed book!"
