The ‘Miranda Rights’ are based of this case which states the 5th amendment that you cannot be forced to incriminate yourself. The Miranda Rights are what we’ve all heard ‘You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law blah blah blah...’

How did the geography affect the way early people lived in ancient Greece?
pentagon [3]

Answer:

The geography affected the way early people lived in ancient Greece by isolating the people from each other.

Explanation:

Due to the high mountains and the hilly terrain, problems of communication and interaction were present, especially in ancient times where technology hasn't fully developed yet. Going from once place to another would create major challenges since the terrain is hard to move through. It wasn't easy to deliver resources, or just a simple message. The geography also affected transportation of goods, crops, and livestock. These are all major factors of environmental determination. Besides those determining factors, geographical formations such as mountains, seas, and islands formed natural barriers between the greek city-states. This forced many to settle along the coast.

Which was not one of FDR's New Deal programs? A. Civil Rights Act B. Works Progress Administration C. Fair Labor Standards Act D
Ne4ueva [31]
Of the list, the one that was not one of FDR's New Deal programs was A. the Civil Rights Act. FDR actually avoided race issues for a majority of his term. This was due to the fact that Southern Democrats held a huge sway in Congress and he needed their votes to pass his other New Deal initiatives. He knew that if he were to start tackling race issues, he would lose their votes entirely and his New Deal would be doomed. He even stayed silent on an anti-lynching bill supported by his wife, Eleanor Roosevelt, due to the political pressure.
