As clearly stated by Anse in As I lay Dying he hopes to "to get ahead enough so I could get my mouth fixed where I could eat God's own victuals as a man should". Basically he is asking for provisions and food when he is talking about victuals. It is good also to remember that Anse is a lazy man and we can proof that because most of his neighbors say that and because time and time again you can see him acting this way.

Excerpt from Stuff Matters
s344n2d4d5 [400]

Answer:

b) hammered into shape

Explanation:

According to the excerpt from Stuff Matters by Mark Miodownik, it is narrated that metals were a great discovery which replaced the use of stones and bones as they were easily malleable unlike the other previously used material.

The line from the excerpt that provides context that supports the meaning of the word malleable is "hammered into shape". This is because for a thing to be malleable, it means that it its shape can be easily altered.

What is the foot for music theory
victus00 [196]

Answer:

The repeated rhythmic unit from which a poem is constructed is called a Foot. It is a pattern of long & short or accented & unaccented syllables. These correspond to strong & weak beats in a bar of music with one very important difference. ... In music, a measure rather than a bar is the closest equivalent to a foot.
