\frac{2}{3} *3x+\frac{2}{3} *9=-2*2x+(-2)(6)

2x+6=-4x-12

2x=-4x-18

Add 4x to both sides:

2x+4x=-4x-18+4x

6x=18

Divide both sides by 6:
