Answer:It is made up of four main islands and thousands of smaller ones. The terrain is mountainous, which means there is not a lot of good land for farming. Because of the geography, the Japanese relied on the sea for many aspects of daily life. Trade with China and Korea became important to get the resources they needed.

Although there are no options attached, we can comment on the following.

One way in which African states or societies changed as a result of the spread of Islam in the period circa 1200 to 1450 was the way the culture had to adapt to Muslim customs. Let's set the example of the Mali Empire.

The Mali Empire started in 1240 and ended in 1645 CE. It was Sundiata who decided to centralize the government, developed a great army and established the presence of Islam in the Empire, which intermingled with previous African religious beliefs. It was Mansa Musa who took the empire to new levels of development, controlling the trade routes of the time and increasing the power and presence of the Mali Empire.

iren [92.7K]

Incomplete question. But infer you are referring to this completed question;

Clarence invests $200 at the beginning of each quarter in stock ABC.

According to the table below, how many shares of ABC will Clarence own at the end of the year?(For each quarter, assume Clarence buys the maximum amount of stock that he can afford with his $200, and that he cannot buy fractions of stock).

ABC. Stock Price

Q1. $15

Q2. $16

Q3. $13

Q4. $18

Answer:

51

Explanation:

Therefore, amount of share he gets is determine by the studio price for each quarter. (Note that we do not take account of decimals)

For Q1= 200/15= 13

For Q2= 200/16=12

For Q3= 200/13=15

For Q4= 200/18=11

Total=51. Thus, by summing up the number of ABC shares Clearence obtained in each quarter, at the end of the year he would have 51 shares.

What is the paradox as related to slavery in the United States?
EastWind [94]

Hey there!

The answer is A. That slavery was still allowed in a free nation.

One of the things the colonists fought for was freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press along with other things.

However, for hundreds of thousands of slaves torn away from their homes, they had none of these freedoms. They were considered inferior and not people.

A paradox is a statement that seems absurd of self-contradictory, which this statement very much is. If the U.S. is a free nation, then why do hundreds of thousands of people living there have no freedoms, stolen from them by the very people who advocated for their own freedom?

Hope this helps!
