In what way did the ideas of the declaration of Sentiments differ from the ideas found in the Declaration of independence??
svlad2 [7]
The country’s founding fathers paved the way for freedom when they wrote the Declaration of Independence, but even after America’s democratic ideas were determined and written down, freedom was still not granted to all citizens. Women have faced many impediments in their pursuit for freedom. Women were not fighting for freedom from Britain; they were fighting for freedom in their own country. When Elizabeth Cady Stanton wrote the Declaration of Sentiments, she used the Declaration of Independence as a framework. Freedom was still freedom, but the idea of it was used for a purpose different from that of the founding fathers. The historical context had changed, and with it, the idea of freedom. The Declaration of Sentiments demonstrates not only the American beliefs in freedom and liberty, but also that the interpretation of these beliefs can change and be reused for different purposes.

How were northern lawmakers convinced to allow Missouri into the union as a slave state under the Missouri Compromise?
12345 [234]
The northern lawmakers needed the state to join the union instead of the confederacy, because if they joined the confederacy, the Union would be weaker. They got the Missouri on their side by allowing it to hold slaves (but that could easily be overturned, so getting the state was more of a priority than having slavery or not)

hope this helps

Answer:

The resulting Haitian Revolution signaled the beginning of the end of the European slave trade is the correct option.

Explanation:

The Haitian revolution began on 22nd August 1791 and ended in 1804. It was an anti-slavery and anti-colonial uprising. It led to the end of colonial rule in Saint-Domingue and it became the Sovereign State of Haiti. Blacks, French, Spanish and British were the participants in the revolution. Tousaint L'Ouverture was the leading hero. The special thing about the Haitian revolution was that it led to the formation of a state which was ruled by the Blacks and former Slaves.

It had a long-lasting impact on the institution of Slavery. It challenged the long-held notion of black inferiority. the events struck terror in the slave owners of North and South America
