Is suppressing a cry of pain showing exuberance or stoicism?why
Mashcka [7]
"exuberance" means enthusiasm or showing a lot of energy. if someone holds back a cry of pain, that doesn't really make them seem energetic or excited. from that alone, you can infer that "stoicism" is your answer, but that word relates to a pointed lack of emotion, like when someone doesn't want to lose face or show that they're in pain.

How would The Outsiders be different if the author had used third-person omniscient point of view?
larisa [96]
The reader would know the thoughts of all the characters. ... Writers expect readers to remember these feelings when they describe certain scenes, and they hope readers will make inferences based on these feelings.

No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addresse
AleksAgata [21]
I believe the answer would be B, Ethos. Diction is the choice and use of words and phrases in speech or writing. Ethos is the characteristic spirit of a culture, era, or community as manifested in its beliefs and aspirations. A metaphor is a thing regarded as representative or symbolic of something else, specifically something abstract. And the style of logos appears to just represent information on a certain subject. Ethos is the speaker or another person, and usually, involves why that speaker is rightfully qualified for a specific rank or job. For example "As a doctor, I am qualified to tell you that this course of treatment will likely generate the best results." (sentence cited from examples.yourdictionary.com)<span>
