Proof:

Ange EBC is 96° so the angle CBA is

180 - 96 ( angles on a straight line )

So angle CBA is 84°

I think ANGLE DBC SHOULD BE CORRECTED TO ANGLE DCB

And angle DCB is 132° so the angle BCA is equal to 48°

So to find BAC angle

48 + 84 + BAC = 180 ( interior angles of a triangle)

so angle BAC is 180 - 132

Which is again 48°

So the angles BAC = BCA

Hence the sides BC = BA

so ABC triangle is isosceles ( two angles and the two sides are equal)

the table shows how many miles uyen has run this week. the total distance this week is 1.5 times the distance that she ran last
NNADVOKAT [17]

Given that the table shows the total miles Uyen has run this week.

The image of the table is attached below.

The total distance from the table is 6.5+2.9+4.2+5.5+3.1=22.2

The total distance this week is 1.5 times the distance that she ran last week.

We need to determine the number of miles that Uyen run last week.

The number of miles Uyen run last week:

Let x denote the number of miles that Uyen run last week.

Let us write the equation from the given data.

Thus, we have;

22.2=1.5 x

Dividing both sides by 1.5, we have;

14.8=x

Hence, the value of x is 14.8 miles.

Thus, Uyen ran 14.8 miles last week.
